7.62x39 non corrosive

is norinco ammo any good for these? canadian tire sells norinco x39 and x54R for 169.99 for 400rounds... thats not bad...
.18$ a round for 7.62x39 and .30$ a round for 7,62x54r are the average going rates for corrosive ammo.

Commercial bulk ammo isnt the same as army surplus ammo. If it comes in a new box and says non corosive on the box it is just that (and if you clean your gun the same as if its corosive ammo why do you shoot non corosive ammo) . If it comes in a wood crate/case or spam cans then its corrosive. The only exeptions being the 90s production norinco 7,62x39( no longer available) and 90s production norinco .308 and norinco .223/5.56 wich are mostly permenently out of stock.

There is no point in doing anything if you don't do it properly.
Corrosive or not corrosive it makes no difference to me, i always clean my rifle. :)

Did lever arms tell you that? I don't add water when cleaning non corrosive because there's no added benefit. I totally understand why someone would go out of their way to buy non corrosive ammo, though I like to run cheap surplus for plinking.
