7.62x39 wheres the cheap ammo at?

I loaded up even more surplus ammo that everyone was ignoring during the .22 drought. Got more x39 and x54 just because the prices were good. I almost felt a bit silly getting so much on top of what I already had but looking back I have no regrets. Some prices I see are double what I paid.

I was able to get a good amount of norc .556 when it was around too, that ammo and those prices will never be seen again.

Just shoot corrosive, cleaning your rifle when you get home only takes another 20min and the money you save lets you shoot a lot more. This is one of the reasons I don't buy expensive rifles that shoot x39 though.

Dont give away your basement hiding spot. I hide mine at my neighbor's down the street that i don't like.

Internet search will give you your answers. There is no secret ammunition store that people buy stuff at 50%off in Canada.... is there?

I bought over ten thousand rounds last Boxing Day for around $279 with $20 discount down to $259 a case. Don’t see any sales like that this year.

The baurnaull Russian non corrosive 7.62x39 that was common has come off the market due to export/importation restrictions. As I understand it, it was coming to Canada via Germany, and Germany has imposed trade restrictions on them. I'm expecting Chinese non corrosive to come to the market some time in the new year. In the meantime corrosive mil surp may be the way to go, get it while you can as supply is starting to dry up on that too.

How did you figure Chinese non-corrosive are coming to the market?
