7.62x54 russian ammoany sources??

However, they are hush-hush about what products from S&B are approved. The don't publish a list for S&B, you have to ask.

Maybe because they have no idea about how to classify the stuff?

Either way, maybe it explains why I can't find S&B .303 ammo anywhere... that stuff was awesome.

FWIW, the Wolf ammo has been in the approvals process for over 2 years now. It is not denied, nor is it disapproved. It's in limbo until NRCan reaches a final conclusion about its status. God knows than that will be. The Czech 54R is in a similar situation, though from what I understand it should not take as long to get approved - less complicated process involving one caliber, whereas Wolf is a whole line of ammo, many calibers.

Will we have access to surplus 54r or just commercial stock when the next batch comes? I"m more concerned about acquiring some low cost (relatively speaking) ammo for fun shooting.

I know dealers that get the stuff in here on Vancouver island.
So I don't know what the problem could be in your part of Canada.

Besides being in Ontario. :p

Also there are several approved companies of said caliber listed on the NRCAN list...so methinks someone at NRCAN is full of sheet.
