7.62x54r surplus restock?

I belive whats in Canada for silver tip is all we will ever see thanks to Russian embargo. The stuff you rarly find in shops is the last crumbs of what was brought in years ago. I know some Canadian tires stock the silver tip. That's the only place I've seen it lately. I believe the silver tip stuff will be in the surplus 303 status in not to distant future

People buy Mosins and sks and tokarev because they're inexpensive and ammos are inexpensives. Wtf will want these guns when the supply of cheap ammo has dried out? Brass for these calibre is barely available for reloaders.

The same guys that bought the LE 303's in the past. They were cheap with super cheap ammo. Nowadays the guns are going up steadily, and surplus ammo doesn't exist anymore for them.

That's the chance you take to save a bit of money

Lever Arms still has some of their non-corrosive Chinese surplus 7.62x54r
Might still be a good idea to run a nail test on yours in case, mine seemed to be non-corrosive.

I'm pretty happy with the new chinese batch of x54r from trade ex, 1971 production.
Minus one flyer, got a 2 inch 5 round group @100 yds with the old Mosin PU :D
