So no, to answer your question Striker.

The problem is...
Marstar will make a killing with any ammo they sell in the USofA.

Selling ammo here is more of a charitable business practice to keep customers happy.

Well now, why had I not thought of that, I will file all the required papers tomorrow to become a non-profit charitable corporation....

Thanks for a fine idea....

SPECFIRE;
Thank you for the support, obviously you have a grasp for the reality of getting ammo into Canada.

YES the Yugo ammo we own is approved for Canada, YES we have all the permits, YES we can import it.... The reality is we do not have any room at this time....

WILL we bring it to Canada, maybe. But at the moment we have numerous other "irons in the fire".

You can store it at my house! Free!
Yeah. That's it. I'll "watch it" for you guys ;) :p .

note: not responsible for ammo lost during "recounts", cats eating it, evaporation or random acts of various deities.

(E)

Hope I am in the correct venue....

Just aquired some sniper grade 1999 production 8mm Mauser ammo.

Should I bring it to Canada or ??

Your opinions ??

John

So, forgive me for wondering what was the point of this tread, other than wetting our appetite?

The guys on my mg42 forum claim the 8mm yugo "sniper" ammo too hot for the 34's and 42's down there (increased wear, parts breaking, etc). I'll have to clarify just exactly what ammo they are talking about in particular, but could this be an issue with the tnw beltfeds here?

Although if it's good for the beltfeds, i'd be in for a box myself...

EDIT:
Thanks John, i'll be sure to grab a box for myself when it is avail then.

Well I hope you can get it here Johnone. Judging by the responses here I'm guessing you'll have no trouble selling out of the stuff. Might have to re-acquire a Hakim!

MICHAEL J:
ALL I can say to that claim is bull.............
The loading is standard ball, it is selected as sniper ammo when it meets some very strict critria....
Simply put they select the best performing lots at the factory and it becomes sniper....
John

When could we expect this to come in?

In the past, one (seller) may be concerned about slow sales, but 8mm has not been seen much, plus I believe many people are hoarding just because of the spotty supply situation. Selling it all relatively quickly shouldn,t be a problem.
