I guess the first question needs to be do you have any slower powders or are you trying 4350 because that's all you have and/or can find? IMR 7828 is a great powder in the 7 mag and my old load of 66 grns of H4831 was super accurate in 3 different 7s...........and yes that load is from a manual from the 70s before lawyers started publishing loading manuals. Next question I would ask is why you're way down in the 40 some odd grains of powder.........that is much too low for a 7 mag, you should be in the high 50s....I just did a quick manual check and those are 7X57 loads..........you need to be between 55 and 60 grns with 4350..........You are way too far below starting loads and are not creating enough pressure to get any kind of consistent burn with your powder, that's why you can't find a node. If you want a reduced load use a quicker powder do NOT reduce slow powders like 4350, they need pressure to work properly.
