Just got my Colt back from Dlask Arms.
It started as a nickel plated 70 series Colt that I bought off the EE. The guys at Dlask Arms were great to deal with and spent a lot of time answering my questions (I had a lot) and giving me suggestions.
My instructions were a bit confusing for the finish and when I went in to pick it up Joe told me that he was not happy with the results and asked me to bring it back in to be refinished at no cost which he was able to do in two days. I was impressed with this considering the first finish was done to my specs. I left the details of what would be done the second time around in his hands and I am very happy with the results.
They installed a Dlask custom magwell and mainspring housing, beavertail, commander hammer, slide stop, full length guide rod, Ed Brown bushing, minor dehorning, new safety, novak rear sights with fiber optic front, they flared the ejection port, checkered the frontstrap at 20 lpi and refinished it.
My next project will be a bobtail commander and I will definately be sending it to Joe to have the work done. The quality of his work is second to none.
