All good info. The subsonic rounds sound great. None of the loads so far are anything wild. I would be hesitant to go much over the stock bullet weight with any of the standard velocity loads. Nice to see that it is doable though. I want the action of the semi to cycle. Most of my good reloads will be fodder for an AR. The SKS gets the Czech. S&B? surplus. My bullets on the Czech surplus mic to 0.3085, how does that compare to yours? I have noticed a huge difference in bullet dia's from manufacturer to manufacturer. That seems to be why reloading info is always stressing the internal volume differences, as pressure would be different even more so with larger dia. bullets. Keep those pet loads coming![]()
My Lee moult drops a .312-.314 bullet depending on mix and I size them to .311 as X39 surplus is usually .310. Works great!
