My weatherby's also have forgiving chambers.
The manuals are advice for your rifle, not law.
Are you using C.H.E. and watching your primers for signs.
With your crony you should be able to predict the pressure curve..
As for your guestion, I load them hot, BUT its going to be hard on your brass..
FYI
High pressure loads are tuffer to tune for accuracy,, might be a headache to get a hot load to shoot tiny groups..
I agree speed kills but, accuracy will trump horse power.
