i already decided to go with the 7mm. thanks for the help. i am going to buy the remington SPS DM.

the gun center were i shop has the savage .338 lapua for $1395 and with seller and bellot ammo its $31 for 10 at ammo source. not a bad option but still to much for me at this time.

Buddy just bought SPS DM. I think he paid $450 plus tax and it came with a hard case. Great rifle at that price.

I had the same debate when I was looking at buying a 338 or 300 WM. In the end it really doesn't matter. Bullet selection will be more important than the calibre and the 7mm Rem has a broad selection of factory ammo.
