I acquired this rifle in a trade. Throat is still quite short, so have to assume not many rounds. Looks good, and no roughness in throat can be felt with a bronze brush...all good signs.
I did get a bit of 1F brass from factory ammo with it, plus a bag of new.
The barrel is a custom SS, was told it came from Pac-Nor, but not sure when inspecting it whose it may be. [No idea who did the smithing as yet]
The chambering is well done, FL sizing fired brass is almost effortless, indicating a "smallish" chamber dimension.
It is on an Early Remington 700 Magnum Action. [still has the notch and a 5 digit serial number]
If I seat the 160 Partition to fit the magazine box, [3.668" col] I am exactly .018" off the lands.
If it shoots well, I will try the 150 Barnes TTSX
It is in an early 700 BDL stock with a fair amount of carry blemishes.
I will hang it into a brand new CDL stock if it shoots well.
Has a so-called "quiet" muzzle brake, but am machining a cap for it before I shoot it. [hate muzzle brakes!]
Regards, Eagleye.
