7mm08 significantly different from .308/.270 ???

i have used a 7mm-08 140 grain for deer/moose/elk an never had a problem dropped them all in 1 shot with good placement (head or neck) but i keep my distance to under 300 yards

I've got all three....for me its mostly a toss up between using the 7-08 and 270 (this year the 270 got used more)....the 308's pretty much sit in my safe, not that there is anything wrong with the 308, I just like the other two choices more.
Might be if I bought a new 308, it might get used more.

Oh, that's wonderful... Head shots at 300 yards (or less)... I hope this gets reposted on the internet over and over...

The answer is amazingly simple; one back-up gun in a short action is not nearly enough. So get that 7mm-08 and also a 338 Federal. Now, on to the long actions.....
