Been drawn for cow moose this year and my go to round in my favorite rifle is with a 140 grain barnes TSX. Is this enough to take down a cow moose at Camp Wainright? thanks boys. FS
Christy proved the 154gr Interbond last year with her first Cow. We are going back to the standard cup and core Interlock which I'd have full confidece knocking over a moose with any day.
Both were complete pass throughs.
The same load I used two years prior and it went nearly the full length of my whitetail, picture perfect mushroom.
I have have great results over the years with standard cup and core Interlocks. When they perform fine in my medium velocity cartridges I find it hard to believe I need to spend twice as much on the Interbond for the same number of bullets. Flame away but I can buy twice as many bullets this way and practice more.
