8.5" Grizzly Mag eta? Ready to Order!!!

I put 260 rounds through mine today, and 1 fail to feed, 1 fail to eject, and 1 of 5 mags was giving a slight problem loading. Over all very good shotty, and fun to shoot. Great buy, I'm glad I bought two of them. :D

Edit add: oh and no burnt thumbs or cuts on the finger from sliding the forend, didn't have to use a glove. I started off with glove on and then forgot to put back on after i first five mags, and it was all good!

Just tried my new shotgun! It work flawlessly with both mags. A little on the rough side at first, but thing quickly smoothed out.
This gun is the best thing since the 8.5" Grizzly tube fed!

I beat you all to it! I already got a front rail and a pistol grip for the action. no blowing off a thumb for me! pics soon as I can get my phone to upload it.

Seriously, all it takes is one fast pump, and a slip.
"That's what she said"
No, seriously.
I am devising a two ringed system to keep this from happening using my cut down wood furniture.
Hope you like it.

...when I post pics.

if your worried about slipping and blowing you hand off, that's you need is what we call a handstop sling plate, its been used on breaching shotguns for 30 + years, we do make something like this, and there are cheap.
I was not going to post in can ammo forum, but I think its needed.
Im sure if needed can ammo could pick some up from us to offer too you guys.

me thinks you have never handled the 8.5 mag, or you have small girl hands
I own two mag Feds 8.5 and put 260 rounds through one of them, and I had no problem controlling where my hand was all the time, and I don't have small girl hands either lol just got a better grip than, you and your weak hands I guess lol!
:jerkit:

Unfortunately what you have won't work with the current forestock.

The stock completely covers the mag tube end cap. When you look down at it you can see it completely inside the stock

If you bring the slide back enough to where the plate mount would sit the bolt is not in battery

Normally the plate would be a good idea but not with the molded forestock.

Now if you had a sliding stock that made the shotgun 661mm OAL that would be a good thing;)

Anyone else find that the bead sight is a little low? Had to aim 9" lower to hit close to center of my target.

Ya, the bead sight needs to be replaced with something taller, and ramped. Especially if you want a rear sight on a rail.
