Local CTC has a couple 590A-1 in stock one if he still has it was decked out pretty good with knife and all, and a mariner coated one! I can check if you are still looking! Prices $600-$800!I can't find one at all and the money isn't what i'm asking about
The 590A1 are around $900-1100 from what I've seen but theyre OOS everywhere but thanks for your helpful commet
I shudder to think what would happen if we used the term scattergun!
Hahahaha so many of you triggered
Who cares what I call it
Thanks for the factual replies
Well I guess I'll pack up and go home because of your mean comment
a classic wingmaster will serve you well. Avoid anything modern remington. Especially the express. The mossberg is scratchy and not the slickest action. But it's very robust and reliable.
Haha, we need pics of his expression!! Trenchgun! That's a good one for sure, I will have to use it!Trenchgun is one I like using around a friend, he’s more of a liberal deep down but he likes guns more than most liberals. He’s got a nice old Ithaca M37 deer slayer that will slam fire, he bought it for killing livestock and shooting feral cats.
Over dinner one night we were talking about it and he wondered why it was made to slam fire, I chuckled and said “Well, it is a trenchgun after all. Slam fire isn’t for shooting deer, it’s for clearing trenches of enemy soldiers.” You should’ve seen the look on his face, I said “yeah man it’s one of the original combat shotguns.” I bet “assault shotgun” was the first thing that popped into his head, I can’t wait to shoot it. I’m going to slam fire it at a cardboard ipsc target and watch him crap himself lol.
Scattergun, trenchgun, street sweeper, all make liberal gun owners wet themselves hahaha.
Maybe just maybe I could care less about your sentiment
I was going to warn you, but they got to ya first, we have some sensitivity issues over what you call a shotgun, I got burned a couple days ago, your turn!!!I shudder to think what would happen if we used the term scattergun! Like me, you will now have to take two weeks of sensitivity training at the Justin Trudeau school for the terminally putridly dramatic! That'll fix ya!

Halifax , our bayers lake CTC has a great shooting sports section and the section manager( Justin) is quite knowledgeable. The owner is pro gun, they have a better selection than the Bass Pro that just opened and most of the time, better prices, will also try hard to beat others prices. They are making up their first order for 2019 now and bringing in lots of cool guns! What area do you live in that your ctc actually has mossberg products?
I've got a couple of option to decide on and just need a push in a direction
Remington Model 870 Express Tactical Magpul CAL 12 3 Pump Action Shotgun $540
Remington® 870™ Express® Tactical 3'' 12-Gauge Pump Shotgun w/ Ghost Ring Sights $580
The second one I'd upgrade to Magpul furniture
Either one I'd do a few upgrades to safety etc
Which is a better deal?
OR do I hunt for a 590A1?
Thanks
Definitely not the snowflakes that have a problem with the term "shotty", most likely the other way around.
