What does Herstal means?
Not what, where. Herstal is a municipality in Belgium.
OP, have you had a chance to shoot that BAR yet?

View attachment 438853 Here is mine. It’s got a Trijicon Accupoint with the German reticle in low Talley mounts. The recoil is surprisingly light considering it’s weight. It reminds me of my Crossman 2200 Magnum air rifle.
Well, b/c of this thread, I too now own one! Dang you all!
Looking forward to launching 286 grain rounds as soon as it arrives.
Cheers.

Regretfully I just got my hands on it today will do a full range report on it this week
Aaaaaaaannnnddd... Someone is a bad influence LOL... As a result, I entered the fray with my own unicorn! Very fortunate to have found one from a board member & got it all together before my birthday. Yes, yes, I bought my own birthday present lol! Put a Sightron 2-10x32 on it, thanks Tesro! I'm so VERY happy with this boom stick, can't wait to hit the range!

That seems to be only military/law enforcement stuff though?!?
Beautiful rifle! Love the BAR. Great shooters. My .270 Mk.III with 156gr Sako Hammerheads kicks like a heavy-barreled .243 with varmint loads. Accurate, reliable, just a little different and interesting. Enjoy.
