9.3x62 'plans' in motion

c-fbmi and Boomer, thanks for the heads up on the availability of the 325gr for the 9.3. If I had taken a little more time when I ordered the rifle from Trade Ex, I could've added a few bullets in as well. I did pick up dies, brass and some 285gr bullets for it at a recent gun show in Duncan so that'll get me started. Then, down the line, I plan on seeing what all Marshall has available. Thanks again though.

Yup, actually Tradex has a petty good selection of 9.3 components, that's where I got the Norma 325s.

And several types of bullets, and brass, that was where I got the bulk of my stash. Tony (father) and Anthony (son) are great people, and I see them every year at a couple of our Eastern Ontario gun shows, where we both have tables. They also did have and I assume still do have, factory ammo. But where's the fun in that!

Doug

I made a Google search to find someone who could make a tin sign, to no avail. My computer skills are right up there with yours Doug. If someone knows who can do it, I'm in; I think the first one should complementary go to Ted though.

Just walk into Cabelas, disregard all of the low end junk, then multiply by 5.

Based on the local Cabela's, that would mean that Johnn has 10 guns, tops!

Of course, I am not including the "Fine Gun Library"...there is some nice stuff in there (and a lot of crap, as well), but they seem to apply the "multiply by 5" rule to the price in that department.

After a couple of experiences with them, I think that I would buy another gun from Cabela's only if I really, really, REALLY wanted that particular gun. :)

:)My wife wishes. 8 rifles and 7 handguns, ;)that's in the cheapo Stack-On overflow cabnet and I have just enough room to sneek in the 'birthday gift' when it arrives today hopefully. Then there's the cabnet a guy from work fabricated for me, but we won't go there;), no room.

I hear you, I had a bad experience with them just prior to the switch over from SIR, and I go in to look around, but I don't spend grudgingly, like when I needed H-4831 in the fall, the guy came out with a single pound and that's all that was in Winnipeg at the time.

That's a shame...that one has some lovely wood. The one you have coming isn't as nicely figured as that one...but either one is preferable to the plain-Jane blonde wood on mine. You'll probably re-finish the wood once you see it yourself, but those photos do show the nice polish/blue job on the metal.

My preference is for a darker wood, something along the lines of my Husqvarna LW.

From the photo Trade Ex had of the one I purchased, the wood does appear to be of a similar 'shade'.;)We'll see, Monday or Tuesday:).

Your rifle should arrive Monday Johnn, mine landed yesterday, exactly one week after being mailed from Ontario..

Here's hoping. It's in Richmond at the moment so it should appear in time for 'Happy Birthday' to me time.
You've probably said already but once more please for the benefit of my memory. or lack thereof, what did you get? Details.
