Which 9mm have 40 S&W mags that work?

I know Glocks work (personal experience) HK USP also work (barely) Walther P99 and S&W M&P are supposed to work (no personal experience). Do not know of any others off the top of my head.

berettas 92/96 work, anyways the metal mags i have seen did, don't know if they we're PBs or aftermarkets

they dont work in the M&P?

cause i just put my 40 mag into my 9 and it fit just fine.

is it a feed issue or something, cause fit issue im not seeing.

I've found that XD40 mags take and work with 9mm ok. Browning Hi-power 40 mags do not work with 9mm, they tend to all spring out at once.

Some of the CZ75 .40 mags will work when loaded with 9mm. But not all of them. Can't remember which ones do and which don't, offhand. I bought a couple of each type to try, and one brand worked flawlessly, with no feeding issues whatsoever, holding 14 rounds of 9. The other brand I tried wouldn't hold them in at all - the feed lips were too wide. I'm pretty sure it was the Mec-Gar .40 mags that worked, as opposed to the CZ branded ones, but I'm not 100% certain.

Apparently, a Sig P229 magazine in 40 S&W will hold 13 9mm rounds. I haven't bothered to find out if it is true however.

As far as I know nothing beats the Beretta 96 mags for 14 round capacity. It's reliable too

Glock 22 mag only holds 13, and USP will take 12 most of the time

I see so it's dependant on the mag and the feeding lips which an vary depending on manufacturer.

HK p30 .40 mags will hold 13 but the one I have is not very reliable, often chucking 2 rounds at a time into the feedway.

now for something completely different...will 40 cal ammo function in a beretta 9mm magazine?
i only ask this because i can find extended (pinned) beretta 92 mags but no 96 mags for my cx4 storm

Glock 23 mags fit 13 rounds of 9mm and feed just fine.
