dont know nothing about where it was made, when or by who. but i had the same one when i was about 13. i traded some stuff for it in a pawn shop. that thing dropped lots of squirrels back in its day.

only problem I had with mine, is after thousands of rounds the barrel didnt latch up well anymore and would just swing down when i was walking with it. once and a while toowhen i would #### it the spring would release and startle me. overall was a good accurate gun though.

750 FPS not PFS means Feet Per Second...so the pellet at the muzzle is moving at 750 Feet Per Second. Average for most seems to be 495 FPS just under the 500 FPS the requires you to own a PAL but there are lots of them that move faster the 600 FPS.

I owned a few Air guns back before I sold them a few years before I got my PAL/RPAL and started collecting the real thing. Sad I sold the Pellet guns nothing special just fun and cheap to shoot.

Rikry a Reather seal too!!!! If dried out disassemble and soak in Neat's foot Silicone oil to rejuvenate.Harold

The trigger on those wear after awhile and( like Gallen270 said ) fires unexpectedly.
It's any easy fix, the sear needs to be ground where it has rounded off.
If you have access to any Casenite, you might want to harden it too. KD

I had one for years, used it to shoot squirrels when I lived on Manitoulin, even shot a grouse one day with it. Great Air gun, finally sold it last summer to a guy at work so he could teach firearms handling with his kids. enjoy!

The 61's are over 500 for sure.I recently had 2 on the EE,purchased from a man who hadn't shot them for years.I wanted to make sure they still shot before selling.Out of the box, with no lubing,etc-shot on average 690FPS.

I have one exactly the same!

I got it (a looooong time ago) when I was 10 or, 11 (circa '82). Although "Santa" brought it, they were available at Can-tire. It spent a decade, forgotten, in my barn (and shows it now) but, is back here again.

Countless starlings, grackles and, rodents (We used to shot rats at our dump...I might be a redneck) were taken with mine. Had to push the front sight waaaaaaay to the left (it looked as if it would fall off) and, it was great fun. Got to the point were I could hit a pencil across the basement...

It will be my son's as soon as he can break the action!

EDIT:

Original reply suggested mine was Czech...quite wrong. That was my second air-gun...I just looked at mine and, same markings (albeit very rusty!!!)

That pictures bring back a lot of memories!

We used to play soldiers with them when I was a kid... No glasses either
Young and stupid, lucky nobody lost an eye
They hurt like hell!

I think my dad had one of these from since before I was born. Pretty sure he still has it, I'll try and take some pics to compare when I go visit.
