^^^^^ What he said. Highly recommended. If memory serves me correctly Paul worked at the Springfield Armory Custom Shop for a spell. I have sent several jobs his way and have not been disappointed with his work.

Anybody had any experience with the Ruger 1911 Target in 9mm?

My buddy has a Springfield 9mm 1911 and it has given him a lot of trouble, lots of stoppages on a fairly new gun and with all kinds of factory ammo.

STI no longer manufactures 1911s. Used or old stock - that’s all there is.

I’m looking for suggestions for a full size 1911 in 9mm. I had my mind set on a Staccato R but it looks like they’ve discontinued it, so I’m back to the drawing board and open to suggestions. It needs to be IPSC Classic division legal, and I’d prefer a ready to go complete pistol rather than piecing something together with a patch work of upgrades. Price range between $2500-$3000ish.
