You should be able to find excellent quality jacketed bullets for far less then that

BDX, Zero's or HAP's would be in the $120 - $130 per k range (for a 147 gr)

You must be buying the top end Hornandy XTP's (or something silimilar)

Using Zero's, once fired brass (an excellent bullet) and Vit Powders I can load for about $190 per K.
