Well it will feed but not really in the “right” spot. So the adapter will need to be secured.
Bolt face needs to be opened the tiniest bit.
And the adapter looks goofy like that, probably get a 3D printed shroud to cover.
Not a drop in by any definition but I’m still hopeful this could work

Any pics of the adapter from the bolt view?

Biggest issue I found was the jump the round needed to do, from the mag to the chamber. Rounds could flip up.

Id likely do a LAR 15/Colt magazine adapter.

But intresting in seeing it works. You use a 223 model?
