There is a Ruger, no longer produced, called the PCR9. I saw one on the EE not long ago and it was classed as non-restricted.

They can be rebarreled But not cheap to do . Cost almost as much as the gun was new

my destroyer has a 21 1/4 inch barrel and it likes 6
gr of bullseye behind a 125 gr montana gold jhp in 357
dia. the barrel slugs out at .356. i made a extra long
deprimer pin to limit the sizeing depth to just the bullet
seat depth. i get 1 1/4 groups at 50 yds. the barrel
has some rough spots in the middle. it will have a new
357 stainless barrel when Ron Smith gets around
to makeing it. meantime life goes on.
