Does such a product exist?, given the growing popularity of tactical lever guns (through necessity unfortunately) and that some 357 revolvers have cylinder swaps to allow 9mm, if a product existed similar to the cmmg 22lr kit for ARs but in 9mm for 357 lever guns where it adds a chamber sleeve and replaces the bolt, I’d buy it for sure, anyone else? Does this product exist? Is it even possible to make?

There is a reason that tube mag fed lever guns don't exist in 9mm. Those pointy little bullets end up resting on the primer of the round ahead of them. Under recoil, there is a chance of ignition.

Even if you tried to convert a 357 lever gun to 9mm, the parts list would be way bigger than you seem to think. The tube mag would be super sloppy with 9mm due to the much smaller case head. Then you'd need to replace the finger that holds the rounds in the magazine.

This is a non-starter of an idea.

We are all waiting (un)patiently for this to happen. That TC 73 is neat but geared to cowboy action… not to many accessories or mods available
Marlin has a 10mm now, here’s hoping they have a 9mm is in R&D or production

There are now lever guns in 10mm Auto, so 9mm shouldn't be any worse for this.

We don't really know that 9mm is a problem in a lever gun, since there really hasn't been much demand for it. Most of the world isn't as retarded as Kanada and people can own semi-auto 9mm carbines. We are the oddball here, looking for solutions to work around government malfeasance.

This I agree with. It would likely take a bunch of fiddling and tinkering to jump from .38spl/.357 to 9mm. I'd also bet the elevator needs tweaking to deal with the much shorter and smaller diameter cartridge.

People have been asking for a 9mm lever gun for a long time, well before the OiC bans came into effect. That garbage is likely driving up demand, but it's not like there was NO demand before that.

Go figure. I certainly never cared as long as I could buy semi-auto's. I guess I can amend that to 'in my world' there was never any demand before blackface bent us over without lube.

Humour me. What is the desire for a 9mm lever action, or any manual repeating rifle? If it’s just for fun/plinking why not 22lr? If it’s for small game, pest, varmint rifle why not 22wmr? 22wmr ammo is about the same price as 9mm. 357 magnum is getting to the point where it has enough power out of a rifle length barrel for deer hunting, 9mm I wouldn’t consider

I liked my 9mm PCC as I had a ton of 9mm ammunition and reload for 9mm already so it was a fun gun to shoot at range, PCC matches and pack into the bush for ATV rides. I don't know anyone that hunted with them.

Most of my experience with lever guns has been Henry 22s and those don’t have an elevator just a ramp and extension on the tube, not taking the rim into account 9mm is very close to 357 in terms of bullet diameter so cartridge length and lack of rim are the biggest issues for a conversion, maybe a conversion kit could include a chamber insert/bolt and lifter? The lifter would probably have to be slightly flared to accommodate cartridges “zigzagging” in the mag tube, nice thought experiment and definitely something we should get the Turkish or Chinese to try and come up with something cheap

I just think it would be neat and I like cool/weird stuff

I’m sitting on 1000s of blaster grade 9mm with no (Canada legal) blaster to blast it through

Lots of people have 9mm ammo for other guns already. Rimfire just doesn't scratch the itch for some people. 357mag is cool but not nearly as cheap, and 9mm can hold more in the magazine. A manual action can be NR without having an 18.5" barrel. No mag limit - a tube mag under a 24" barrel could hold like 16 rounds.

Is it a great hunting caliber? Not really, no. But hunting is only one reason we buy guns. Fun, ####s and giggles, and because are all valid reasons too.

Fun gun / value-to-bang ratio. 9mm is near as good as it gets for that (for off the shelf ammo).
Anything with less bang is underwhelming, anything with more bang doubles the price per round, or more.

If you're buying 9mm at 22WMR prices let us introduce you to bulk from Tenda with free shipping. 28c a round is 2026 rate.
Rarer to find consistent bulk deals on 22WMR, 38sp, 357.
