That would be great but illegal here in sk. Can use shotgun or rimfire though.maybe good for grouse while deer hunting?

I think they would expand and then some. I have some to try as well. Might try to load them subsonic with trailboss. The 250gr are interesting as well. If only we were allowed suppressors up here. I would have got the threaded one for sure. The little CVA Scouts are a hoot of fun. I have a 350 that i bought because i wanted to try the cartridge without spending $1000 on a Ruger American. It's become my favorite woods walking rifle. I worked up some 250 grain loads with the Hornady Sub-X bullet. Those are fun to shoot. I also have a bunch of 147 grain XTP.... might actually be able to get them to expand at 350 velocities.
A 16" factory barrel with a can would be sweet. You could plink for dirt cheap loading heavy 9mm bullets and it would sound like a mouse fart.I think they would expand and then some. A perfect first rifle. I have a scout in 223 on its way from a good member here for my kids to learn on.Well this is interesting. I bought my son the same gun for his first deer rifle.
I have the same little Burris Optic on mine. You should be able to tighten those groups up with some tuning... I haven't shot anything that light out of mine yet... but i can usually cut cloverleafs at 50 yards with either 165 grain and 250 grain sub-x loads.Another update. Same load as listed above off of a wobbly tripod at 25 yards. 10 shots into 2.5". Im more than ok with that type of accuracy. Will try it out on some beavers this spring for bear baits.

Oh it shoots 350 ammo almost moa. Mine likes 155 sierras the best. That group is with 9mm luger handloads with 115gr jhp.I have the same little Burris Optic on mine.
