9mm pistol accuracy

My Shadow is crazy accurate, until it hears a shot timer "beep". Then it sucks and sends rounds everywhere. lol!

Out the of the box...

Sig P239
Walther P99/PPQ.
HK P7M8

All of my 1911's are custom so they don't count. They're only a wee bit more accurate than the guns listed above.

PPQ M2 Match. A tuned 85 Combat was as good as I could shoot off a bench until the PPQ came along.

All my nines hate Action Shooting. As soon as they hear a beep they can't hit poop and are they ever slow firing. Just saying,

Take Care

PS Most modern handguns hit where the barrel is pointing. Therein lies the challenge.

One of the most accurate 'stock' 9mm's I ever owned was an old school Star Model B. Cost me the princely sum of $125 back in the day with 2 mags. Shot circles around the spankin' new Series 80 Colt Government 1911 9mm I also had at the time. Sadly, I wasn't smart enough to hang onto it, though. :(

Norinco NZ 85 (CZ clone); it just shoots where I point it (with home-loads) and at 20 yards. I hear people blowing about tight groups, and invariably, they are shooting at 7 or 10 yards.

Any modern 9mm pistol will very very likely be more accurate than you, so this is really more a question of which gun suits you and your shooting/grip style.

This above is good advice. For example, for me the CZ75/85's and BHP MkIII pistols seem to fit best. And translates into down range performance.
