the M&P with the range kit is an awesome deal and gun, but you'll probably want to change the trigger out on it to one of the APEX trigger kits. The factory one sucks, seriously sucks.
I have no experience with the girsan though.
I second the advice to try them, or at the very least hold the two and see how they feel in your hands.
I have the M&P pro. It was my first, it came with the Apex kit with the alum trigger already installed.
Love it. I've put just over 1000rnds thru it with no issues. The 3 back straps make it adjustable for
different hands.
I hear the girsan is actually a step up from the berettaBetween those 2 choices, I'd go with the M&P in a heartbeat.
However, between that and a real Beretta, I'd go with the Beretta.
