Hey Gang,

I'm about to begin reloading 9mm for the Glocks and I'd like to hear powder preferences from those with some experience.

I'll be loading 124gr FCP RN Campro bullets, shooting them out of a Glock 17 and a Glock 19. Intended use is general plinking, practice and more practice with the intent of taking the Black Badge course and some competitive shooting to follow in the near future.

What say you CGN 9mm junkies?

I've been using W231 for many years. Meters well, seems to be regularly available and can be used in other pistol calibers too if that might be a consideration for you. Currently I am also using 124gr Campro with 4.0gr W231 and it makes for a nice soft shooting load that cycles everything I've ever used it in.

I recently burned through a bunch of odds and ends of powder I had in my cabinet from years gone by. I ran various powders with 1000+ rounds of 124gr Campro 9mm through a Glock 17 for IPSC and IDPA.

I find Titegroup to be very dirty even though you do use less. The fact that you can triple charge a case and still not overflow it worries some.
700X and 800x were dirty as well and didn't meter well due to the large flake size; lots of light charges.
Longshot and HS-6 worked very well for me, metered very well, and were quite clean. Not that economical though since you need more in a case.
SR-7625 is also clean and works great. It's discontinued so you can't buy it anymore.
Bullseye works well and meters well. Not as clean as some of the others but not too dirty either.

CFE Pistol will be my go-to powder once I burn off everything else. Meters really well, fairly economical, and quite clean.
