A big thank you to Brad at Wholesale Sports. He went the extra mile, and way beyond normal customer service to fill my order for a rifle.
I understand he had gone to three of his distributors help him source this product.
And as a bonus, they sold it to me for about 30.00 less then it was listed in their cataloge for.
They always had my business, and this is a good example why.

They get dumped on for service, but have always been great to me.

X2. The one thing I have found is just know what you want when you walk in the door and never ask any of them a technical question. Man I have heard those guys dishing out some reall good brown piles :D

I had to make a mail order for a rifle, something that sucks when you can't get a look at the gun up close. Anyway the service was outstanding from Calgary, where they found what I was after , and sent it to Edmonton for processing. Good show :D

I find that most times I do mail order things go quite well. I will NEVER order from those #### face guys @ LEBARONS  LEBARONS and the lady behind the phone are the worst people I have ever had to deal with.

I had a problem with Wholsale, and it took Brad to sort it out. Seems like a pretty no-nonsense type of guy, which is what that place needs more of.
I must admit, I have had excellent dealings recently with the younger staff there who seem to be more willing to help provide customer service. Some of the "veterans" prefer to swap hunting stories during a busy time than help out a customer.

Only thing I ever bought there was a Ruger No.1A in .30-06. i ad wanted a 7x57, they went out of their way for me but in the end couldn;t source one in a reasonable time frame - not their fault. In the end I went with the '06 and it's been a great gun, no complaints about it or their service.

Every retailler will have it's mulligans, but I wouldn't hesitate to order there again if thay had what I wanted for the right price.

I stand by my opinion that WS sucks. That said, there are some REALLY good people who work there and will bend over backwards to help you out, and are overall great guys. Too bad the people who own and run the chain aren't like that.

Brad owns the joint. I used to work for him in Calgary. Nice to see the big brains running around in the back pulling stuff for mail order. I always respected him for that.

The only times I have ordered from them, I have had great customer service. There was a lady with an older sounding voice that dealt with me once, and I had her look up almost every gun they sell to see if they had it in stock, and she was patient and even laughed with me at my dilemma. Good folks.

here in winnipeg wholesale is really the only place to go, and they are pretty good. S.I.R, on the other hand, wow, now that is terrible service!

I thought Kenny was running the show ? I’m sure he’s the new owner after Farmers supply closed the door and reopened under Wholesale sports...

Unless I'm mistaken the Butler boys own the whole shebang and they have other guys run the various stores.
