Excuse me, but were those comments directed at you, or were they directed at people, that are changing the direction of this post from one of consensus to berating and playing the blame game. I have a very low tolerance for that behavior. So, in closing I really don't care what you think.

You posted on a public forum. How is asking if you called them, berating?

Obviously you cared or else you wouldn't have replied.
 
I have spoken with Tanner, and he has assured me that my concerns regarding delays will be addressed. I thanked him, and hopefully all is well.
I started this post because there were parallels between what was happening with this order, and what others had expressed in their reviews. I was looking for a consensus as reassurance that I was dealing with a reputable business. Overwhelmingly, the reviews on here would indicate that they are reputable. However, I have to be honest, they need to work on the communication end of things.

I was not referring to that comment as berating.
However, that comment about whether I had called them can be taken in a number of ways. If I took it the wrong way, them I apologize.
 
So...I was right? Imagine that. Look, if they were horrible to deal with, it would probably be common knowledge on this forum. The google review thing is a joke, and anyone who read any of the reviews could figure out that some are not legit. Are you scared to call and talk to a human during normal hours?

No, you were not right. I tried calling a couple of times last week. However, when the call goes to voice-mail, and then you are told their voice-mail is full, it does not leave one feeling warm and fuzzy.
Your comment on Google reviews being a joke. What do you base that on? I posted that there were parallels to what I was experiencing and what the reviewers on Google had experienced. So again, what do you base your comment on.

If you're that gullible to believe believe google reviews without a grain of salt, I don't know what to tell you. You do know I could leave the following as a review.

Dealt with this guy today. Great prices, and threw in some freebies. They even managed to cure my cancer and help me quit smoking. Or,

The owner is actually a shape-shifter, and not to be trusted. Avoid this company.

As I said, if there was a problem with this business, it would have been brought up time and time again on the forum. It's happened before.
 
Ordered 5000 small pistol primers from them and they shipped me a mixture of small rifle primers. I called and asked what was going on. They said someone would callback. They didnt. Called yet AGAIN routed through to some sort of alleged manager. Heard her whining in the back ground about why dont i just use them. She didnt care. I gave them options how to correct THIER mistake (ship correct products, and/or refund etc). She lied to me and said they would send me a shipping label which they never did. As far as i am concerned they have zero care for customers, do not correct their errors. and are flat out LIARS!!

What can I tell ya. You still offer no proof to your claims that Google reviews are fake. That is your opinion, and therefore has no standing. Regarding those reviews as well as a few on this site, there is an element of truth in
pointing out that the business has some issues. So you can go on poo-pooing Google reviews all you like.
You van even poo-poo all the positive reviews on Google, while you are at it.
I think we are done now.

Almost exact experience with me, i was short shipped 200 primers from a December 2021 order, called and called and called got the we are “closed for xmas holidays” back in late Jan with a full voicemail. Spoke to three different people FINALLY a week later and got three different answers. We are in in March 2022 and i have to see any refund or primers. I msged them here on cgn and i got the “call Alex tomorrow” to sort this out. (Insert facepalm)
I would not deal with them anymore lesson learned.
 
They are my local gun store and they are excellent. Issues with powder, ammo and primers are a result of the current supply issues. Don (the owner) has tried to ensure there is stock in store of primers and reloading supplies as people are buying huge quantities online and reselling at inflated prices. He simply does not like selling guns unless he’s got a way for his customers to feed them.

He is very reasonable and certainly would make things right if there is a mistake. He is certainly not the most computer savvy and his son does a lot of this for him. I can vouch that the store is very busy and his inventory of interesting firearms is awesome. Have a look through what he has in stock and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I have had Don ship in supply from other stores that will not ship to my address due to current ammo shipping issues in Canada. Yes, things can take time…. Be patient. Inventory comes in small spurts from different suppliers so organizing things and keeping up to date inventory must be a challenge. He has about 5 different employees that I have seen in the store so they seem to be doing their best.

The smith in the store is also one of the most knowledgeable fellow of firearm cartridges I have ever met.

Anyway, take my post for what it is… just an opinion. At least you know it’s one from someone who actually knows the guy and has fired a shotgun along side at the range…

Thank you for the response. Based on the greater consensus, and my experience, I believe they are a reputable business.
As a first time customer, not aware of how they conduct their business, the experience was different than what I am used to. Delays are sometimes unavoidable, especially with ongoing supply issues being what they are. What makes it all better is communication. Nevertheless, all is well. In stark contrast with how chaotic the world is right now.
 
I placed an order there a couple weeks ago. Took about a week before they sent me a tracking number, which seems like a long to get the order together and drop it in the mail. We'll see how the order looks when it arrives this week.

Order arrived today, all products looked as they should. Overall a little slow on the delivery time but other than that I'm happy with the service.
 
I have bought online from them for several years. Orders have been for powder, primers, .22LR and other handgun ammo as well as several different firearms.....always shipped on time and well packaged.

Several orders with Eagle in the past - will definitely continue to use them in the future as well. Never had a problem with them and have found some unique stuff I've needed before.
 
I tried to order from there. Even signed up on their site. Order would not go through and couldn't get payment confirmation. Tried several emails with no answers. Really wanted the product, and couldn't find elsewhere.
Never did get the order processed, and gave up on them. Others take my money easier.
I had the exact same experience. So I phoned them with my credit card information. Checked with Master Card the transaction went through but my order was not processed. So I phoned them with the credit card transaction # and am still waiting. I don't want to bad mouth them, but lets say I will not be going down this road again and I seriously doubt they will ever be serious competition to Prophet River!

Follow up. So they finally found my credit card information but it wasn't attached to the invoice so my order sat there and was not shipped, "pending payment." In the mean time they removed items from my order to fill other orders. So I never even got all the products I ordered and paid for. Remains of my initial order or the credit for items removed have not arrived yet. Needless to say I will be checking my order very carefully.
