A day out with a few rimfires - Part 3 –

So we had another awesome invite to Steve’s private back yard range and I thought I would share in some of the gun #### that was in attendance. I regret not getting some good pictures of all the steel targets that went out to 300 yards. The winds and cooler weather made for a challenge. 30-50km shifty winds made it a fun Sunday for the second day of shooting! The Saturday shooting was great fun too and the kittens were in full attack mode for each of the shooter in attendance. Dinner was a fantastic treat with Tenderloins done to perfection by the expert guest cook and there was an abundance of extras including everything but salads this year! And some crazy microwave skills too! The chocolate cake was a better choice regardless, lol.
With snow on the roads we knew we were in for cooler weather
The science of a better bench height and construction was in full swing over the weekend with several ideas in attendance
And the start of some great gun ####…
A little adjustment here and there during the fun…
Other crazy stuff
A very nice one here
A very cool little CZ
Cats everywhere
And of course the play time…
Bucket of fun after the first day of shooting
My personal favorite for a bush gun - 1727F in a folding MDT stock
Bench Bench “spaz” Bench (tough trying to keep up to the target shooters!)
A wildlife sighting on the way out
And one of the many challenges of shooting outdoors with wildlife everywhere, lol
And of course a nice 64 action with a neat adjustable stock! (I want one of those)
I am hoping the crew can add a few target pictures of their best groups and a big thanks to Steve for hosting the fun and educational weekend of shooting in crazy winds!
