Ah, once you get past the kissing it isn't that bad!![]()
Tj, what do you run for rain pants?
And where's the lightweight hip waders? I got some dandys from an outfit in AK. They are 12oz IIRC and pack up very nicely. Not ###y but functional.

Being fair-skinned I'd be including sunscreen on my list.
I don't see a compass or GPS on your list - going somewhere you're very familiar with (night or day)?
You are probably talking about Bag Balm.
Sheep...
soon as I saw your list, I too wondered what it would weigh.
By the way, what rifle are you taking?
Good luck, wish I was there,
LeRoy
Are you using a protein bar to replace a meal each day or do you split the De-hy in half (2 person sized meals)? We have packed a couple days extra rations just in case.
Protein bar is for lunch with a bit of jerky or trail mix and on hard hiking days maybe a chocholate bar for lunch too. Those meals for two are definitely not meals for two....not sure who Mountain House is trying to kid. I eat an entire one each evening for dinner. Ya, packing some extra food would be nice but it comes down to a matter of volume and I'm maxed out. 12 days seems to be about the maximum a person can do without resupplying. Truthfully, I'm hoping I brought 11 days extra food because we are going to find a ram on day one!![]()
It will sure feel good when I get that sucker. A couple of those tiny squeeze packages of Hienz Ketchup and little salt & pepper packages are always in a baggie in my pack along with some Worther's hard candies. Sinful but luxurious (along with my hash pipe, todd)
