My dad had a Rem Model 7 Featherweight in .308. It put lots of deer meat on our table.

3.1 @ 9x... 3.6 @7x... 4 @ 3x... I never use any of my scope on full magnification, in case you get surprised by a running deer or moose... 6X is about right for 0 to 250 yards, my scope is far, i have to lean into it for total view, even at a full 9X, i would not get a cut eyebrow... JP. Jp.hmmm, the leupold website shows it having a 3.1" eye relief on high magnification?
