A lot of used Glocks for sale - Why ?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that there always seems to be a lot of used Glocks for sale.

I've never owned a Glock, and my Son and I are considering getting one for target shooting but I'm wondering if they aren't all they're cracked-up to be.

I've been shooting Handguns for 50 yrs, Revolvers and Semi-autos, so I'm not a "Newbie" to this game.

All input will be appreciated.

Regards... Dave.

As well as my Glock shoots, I just can't get over the trigger. That's why I'm selling mine - I like good triggers like those found on 1911s, CZ Shadows or what Walther did with the PPQ. Plus, I like the innovation that is coming into the market, such as the SIG P320 with its chassis system. I am interested in taking advantage of the possibilities of that platform which is also why I am selling as I don't want multiple striker fired polymer framed pistols in my collection as I want to keep my collection practical, outside of the multiple historic pieces that I own.

The Glock feels like a plastic brick in my hand, and that terrible trigger is not for me. Lots of Glocks around, so lots will be on the used market.
If I were a cop or a bank ####, I'd get one. Just a tool, like a hammer. Works every time. Clean it in the dishwasher after your yearly practice session and you're good to go.

I need steel, and walnut where possible.

never sold anything that i got on deal as LE/Military members but that is just me ...

Unfortunately not everybody is like us, and there are people that abuse it to make a profit. Like I tried to buy one of those Task Force Afghanistan Para Ords, but was not paying over 1200$ for something I know was only 749.

Glocks

Gawd knows I love my 1911's..... but I also love Glocks!

In fact, for a SHTF scenario where a handgun was called for it would be my 2nd gen G22 every time.

Yes, Glocks come up frequently in the EE as there's lot of 'em out there. I might've even bought a few off the EE myself. ;)

The stock Glock triggers are NOT good, but cheap aftermarket connectors significantly improve them. The Ghost Rocket connectors make it WAAAAAY better. Not sure why Glock won't update their trigger.

That said, my short, wide hands fit my PPQ much better and my Glocks were sold...

Maybe if I get that connector I'll stop complaining. But now I'll have another gun in the safe lol
