A new barrel burner is created

Not "toyed around with," I N V E N T E D . I went to look up the dictionary definition of the word "invented" ....... which if you are interested is:

Which definitely doesn't fit when I realized there is a second meaning to the word that I hadn't considered and which may be more appropriate here.

Although personally I think the word "confabulate" may offer the best description.

We already determined awhile ago that you have an axe to grind with Alberta Tactical Rifle. Leave it at that.

Peter At NO point did I say or claim to invent this wildcat. As usual your literacy skills are showing to be sadly lacking. Your B.S. in foods may impress Betty Crocker, but not us.
As you probably know virtually EVERY cartridge on earth has had someone at some point somewhere modify, alter or change it in some manner, just like you have done with some of the cartridges you are "messing" with.

So as usual your constant attacks towards me and ATRS only continues to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt what an ASS you really are. :owned:
Maybe you should give it rest, it is really getting lame.d:h:

ya know... they designed the 300 Lapua when they developed the 338 Lapua back in 89. Sept 9 for the 338 and Oct 6 for the 300. Not sure when the info was released but it's been awhile, I have the CIP specs.
Sounds like the name should be 300LAI to me.

Next 338 Lapua I build will be a AI as well. Is your 338LAI a typical AI or is it differentÉ. Nice looking rifle, like the brake.

I do know when the 338 Lapua was developed and all both my 338LAI and this 30 cal necked down version share dimensionally is the headstamp and extractor cut in the casing, from the extractor cut forward is a 1.5 degree total body taper, so as close to straight walled as possible, the shoulder angle is also radically different for most AI variants as I have run a 42.5 degree shoulder, as well as a shorter neck.

The 300 Lapua has alot more body taper and a much less sharp shoulder and like the SAAMI 338 Lapua is slightly longer than the variant I have been working with. ( Can I say working with without someone getting his diaper in a knot?)

Rob you must have the same keyboard I do, if you hit the control and shift keys it will give you back your ? mark. "differentÉ":p
I get this all the time, I hate bilingual keyboards:HR:

Oh my lord. f:P:

Your grasp of the only language you speak is just atrocious. The title of this thread is "a new barrel burner is CREATED"

The word "create" means:

1. to cause to come into being, as something unique that would not naturally evolve or that is not made by ordinary processes.

2. to evolve from one's own thought or imagination, as a work of art or an invention.

So in fact you actually did claim to have invented it. :HR: And why on earth would you ask the hoi poloi to help you name something you admit to not having invented? After all if someone else invented it, it probably already has a name? :kickInTheNuts:

Oh stop ..... no stop ...... I can't breath ............... oh the humanity ............ gasp ......... I have tears running down my face .........

from LAUGHING MY ASS OFF a the stupidity of that comment. YOU, who kept asking ME to write your emails for you questioning my literary skills? :bangHead:

No, what is lame is you beaking off about me to every person who walks into your store. Did you not think that some of them might be my friends? I even have some of your childish, idiotic rants on audio cause my friends walked into your store carrying recorders in their pockets. Only you can't keep your story straight and it changes three times in a single conversation. :bangHead:

I walked away and was happy to keep my mouth shut but you just couldn't extend me the same courtesy could you?

What is even more lame is you sicking NWEST on me for a bunch of BS made up lies. Cause you thought you could use the state police as a big stick to beat me with. However, after a big investigation they didn't find a single shred of credible evidence. In fact they laughed at you for being such an idiot. Then they asked us about some of the dodgy stuff you are in to ......

Does the concept of throwing bricks while standing in a glass house mean anything? I didn't think so.

Do you get the meaning of this emoticon now? :owned:

Perhaps you can start a new thread for the ATRS hating? I believe this thread is about a new rifle and potential cartridge combination, which I was personally interested in.

Good news is a mental health professional would be happy to listen to your anger, unfortunately most people here aren't interested.

suputin, are you a gunsmith or do you own a rifle building business? if you do, please extend me and possibly others the courtesy of knowing this information as to prevent inadvertantely supporting you or any company you may be affiliated with. thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I didn't get as much range time today as I had hoped, but did find that with powders typically used for 50BMG, I ran out of case capacity before any pressure signs appeared. Even with a 100% full casing of US869 the bolt opens easily and the primers look the same as new other than where the firing pin hits.
Got velocities of mixed results which leads to believe the battery in my chrony needs replacement.

More load testing and range reports to come.

My bad, I didn't look at your pic of the cases, yea definately different and definately improved. I like, maybe too much.

so other then a dieing chrony batt and no pressure signs any other findins / insite to how this is goin?

i know you said you havnt played with the bullet jump yet, but out of curriosity id be interested in if there was any / how much throat erossion there has beeen, but i guess this is a thought with out knowing how many rounds youve actually put threw the rifle.

i know some of the otehr barrel burners , a shooter is chassing the lands about every 100rnds or so, im curious to see where this falls in the scale between normal and barrel eaters.
