Those Benelli MR1's look interesting. I wonder what site sponsor would carry those when and if they do come to Canada. Benelli's website indicates that its has a 16" inch barrel wich would make it restricted here i suppose. As for the rumour of it being rebarrelled for Canada, I just dont see that happening for such a small market right off the initial product launch.
P&D will have them with 20" barrel. I asked the other day when I was there. Not due till August/sept
Either way, I need more 'Carrot' to lead this 'Horse' with, if I am going to spend the big bucks on a Rifle right away.

- Multiple Calibres for under $1,000 each after initial puchase is also......
$2500 for a 5 shot single calibre 'dead end' is not........(unless it fires 7.62x39, in which case, the ammo costs make up for everything else).
The 'Value' can be either Monetary or Principal (10 shot LAR mags being one of those principals).

i hope the xcr m comes out soon but 308 is twice as expensive as 223. an xcr in 762*39 is even much cheaper to shoot.

Logic aside, it LOOKS mean and nasty, and there are not that many of them out there...the only two reasons gun grabbers ever seem to care about.
Why not just "test" the waters with an SKS and and a crate of ammo? (it's more fun than you can imagine!)
Sell it in the EE when your crate runs out and buy the M305.... Then, Repeat.... with the next rifle up the chain, when funds permit.
You'll have alot more experience and fun for it!

Alright well I just figured out my tactical non restricted gun! I had to go with surplus 7.62 x 39 just because you can't reload .223 for that and I am gonna do something different for driving tacs anyways! So I have owned a CZ 858 and although it is a good gun, it is expensive to mod, and needs a lot to get where I want it. I also hated having to worry so much about cleaning, as it would suck to find you $800 dollar gun full of rust. So I decided on an sks with a Tapco stock, and duckbill mags! Figure Ill trick it out with stock, mags, and scope mount and scope and if need be I can always swap out that $200 sks under all the kit! I'm excited and as of now the whole deal is gonna cost me about $650 shipped for everything I need!
No matter how you dress it - you still get an SKS accuracy. Plus - lots of cleaning with milsurp after each range visit. Plus your accuracy (poor to begin with) goes to the drain after about 40 rounds anyway, so, guess what - cleaning! Buy a good bore snake - well worth it for cleaning SKS in the range if you want to shoot more and don't want to go home after only 40 rounds through, lol!
Take 650$, put it aside, repeat. Patience helps too. If you do it on the monthly basis, you will be able to buy an HK or an XCR with 4 LAR mags in less than 6 months. I don't know about you but personally, for me, this is the plan

I'm in for less than $1k, i set a $400 dollar limit on optics, but i am pretty sure i am going for the vortex sparc at around $300,

Can't be done... non restricted black rifle for around $1500 not possible... you always want the next one up, and all you really want is an AR15... stoopid govinmant!
