It's literally stated have been written in humour, I appreciate your intent but I politely disagree. Journos/Antis etc are perfectly capable of conducting research. This list has been useful to many people. This website is jam packed with misinformation, fudd lore, tactical ninjas and more. Frankly the number of times the same questions were being asked over and over again by people who didn't bother to conduct basic research is annoying. I'm happy to help people who show a modicom of helping themselves.

I made the effort to produce the one thing this forum needs more than anything else and has the least of: Transparent, sourced, factual, useful information with humour.

Yup I like to kick the hens that come pecking with stupid comments, yup I actually grow frustrated at the medieval mentalities expressed here and yup I will deliberately antagonise them on occassion.

Thanks for your original post. It’s good info and I enjoyed the humour. Pretty much anyone can do research online.... not like some anti gun folks can’t browse gun store websites and filter for semi auto.
 
With more gun control being introduced next week, they will probably be tying up lose ends and add more stuff to the list.

That is what is sounds like . No doubt Wendy Cukier and her friends are browsing all the Canadian firearm sites to see what guns should be added to the OIC ban list . No doubt they will ban as many as they can while the iron is hot .

Seems like Wendy wants bb-guns, airsoft and toys are next. Pretty soon Toys-r-us is going to be pissed at the government and the antis, because they prohibited toy guns. It's coming.

This, so this. It feels like they are trying to ban air guns, water guns, cap guns, sticks with "wood" handles. It will be the old video game/media debate as the try to remove arms completely from culture.
 
Cant see the RS-Q1 being on the market very long before acquiring a Prohibited FRT. It looks like an AR regardless of what parts it uses. And thats the only excuse the RCMP need now.

Speaking with the designer it was designed with continued discussion with the RCMP.

But then again they called a rifle a non-AR variant then years later changed their minds
