My youngest daughter tried shooting a real rifle last summer for the first time--a Henry Mini-bolt .22 borrowed from my Dad. She was a little small but she really loved it.

So, for her ninth birthday she got her very own, with stylin' orange stock.

(don't worry, the action's open and muzzle is pointed well away from everyone)
She took no time in personalizing the rifle.

and now we can't wait to try it out! Presenting, Canada's latest Gun Nut!

She started when she was eight last year. What age did you start her at? .
They're great--the fibre optic sights (green rear and red front) make for easy training, the stock size and weight are perfect for children (my daughter is a little small for her age) but still usable by adults, the trigger pull is good and the fact that you have to #### it each time after working the bolt adds to the safety. You can also put stickers on itAlso how is that mini bolt? I was looking at them for my 10 year old brother.
