Here's a question for you guys that have shot lots of coyotes and save the fur. This last season I shot lots of coyotes (with my 22-250) using Berger HP's. They worked pretty good. They usually didn't leave a big hole when/if they exited. But I'm wondering if I changed to soft point bullets, what kind of results can I expect? What kind of exit holes do they usually leave? Do the coyotes usually drop on they spot or do they usually run a bit? I guess would you consider them more fur friendly in your experience than other bullets?
