I took 26 this season just with the 52 gr Berger from 40 yards to 362 paces. I only had one bad hole and that was on on a coyote that was running straight away from me. The bullet basically entered above his hips and opened him up all the way to his neck - it followed his spine.. The rest of the hides had twoonie size holes (very easily sewed). They were all shot at different angles and distances. I never did have a run away, but that was just my experience - everyone's is different. I also don't run them extremely fast. I just wanted to know if softpoints would be better.
