accuracy check - Speer BTSP .308 150 gr. ?

Define "mid-range". Here in the western / southern part of "The Shield", mid-range would be defined as 50 yards, as most game is taken at 25-75 yards, as past 75 yards, you cannot seen into the black spruce / cedar swamps.
YMMV
Depends on your rifle; does your rifle like BT bullets?
BUT, in any event, they ain't a Berger/Lapua/Sierra target bullet. They were designed for white-tail deer hunting.
However, if your rifle cannot differentiate between quality target bullets & "normal" hunting bullets, with respect to accuracy, does it really matter?
For hunting hereabouts, a flat base, round-nose soft-point bullet, from pretty well ANY suitable calibre, has always done the trick.

iirc in the target world mid-range runs out to 800 ish, elr for anything longer
soft point bullets like these can to have a higher BC than hp's, so asking about target use

They're actually very good hunting bullets, especially for Deer and Black Bear.

They are old school cup and core bullets that usually don't produce "match" accuracy results, and they shouldn't be driven faster than 2800fps.

They were designed to perform best between 2700-2800fps from close range, under 50 yds to 300 yds on Deer sized game.

I use them in a 30-30 Savage and a 308 chambered Mauser 98. They shoot into 1.5-2 moa depending on which rifle they're used in.

For the 308 Win, I use 47 grains of WW748 over CCI 250 primers for 2750 fps.

I've also used IMR 3031, BLC2 and H335 at similar velocities with similar results.
