Accuracy International New Models Revealed

A 30-40 moa base will be best suited for the 5-25 PMII. I get the full 26mils of useable elevation with both the 30moa base (on my TRG's) and the same goes for the 40moa base on my LRT-3.
Consider ERA-TAC's (Recknagel) new moa adjustable mount if your rail is only 20moa. The mount allows you to dial in another 10-70moa as your situation demands. Using this mount you could set it to 20moa in addition to the 20 your rail has and optimize the total cant for the 5-25 PMII.

I have this mount and it is truly a work of art. Nicer than the SPUHR in my opinion.

Thanks. But I'm particularly interested in the AI mounts, and trying to figure out if they have somehow failed to offer a combination that works with probably the most popular scope for their rifles.
Seems something in the region of a 20moa mount with the 20moa rail would work. But they only fit the smaller s&b.

I had a PMII 5-25 on a 45MOA cant rail/mount combo and still had all the usable elevation travel so with 48MOA cant you may or may not be OK. Does AI have a 0MOA mount?

Yes they do a 0moa one.

I guess with most of the s&b and nightforce scopes 20moa total would be fine. But probably not enough for the 5-25x56.

I have one of the new bipods in the mail (Wolverine has them already). I am interested in its pan/tilt locking feature. It should be much more stable than the Parker Hale in theory, we will see how good it is when it arrives.

Oh yeh. That was one of the other things they have showing new on the website. Weirdly though they don't mention it's for the AT or AX

The stock spigots have not changed, it will fit AW, AE, AT and for AX you need the adaptor block that mounts to the bottom rail.

Hey Marcoman

Can you tell me where I could look to get a this ERA-TAC adjustable mount. Might just be the ticket for my purpose.

thanks

Or just get an old one. Which I may or may not have done. ;)

But that is an interesting historical model.

Well, I'm happy to tell you Crunchie.... the Eagle has not landed.... but she is IN THE AIR!!! :) :) :) :) :dancingbanana:, the package shows "In Transit On Time"

Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. Our years wandering in the desert are almost at and end.

No one has the slightest idea... what I'm talking about, but stay tuned!!!

Some really cool pictures and AI info here.

Thanks for posting this. This is really cool. The old is where it's at. Buck Rogers can have the new fangled stuff... if he wants it. Lord knows what everybody else wants is the classic green AW.

I know what you're up to lol, but can't wait to see your pics as always. Speaking of classic AW's in green, mine will finally achieve that later this summer hehe, I have finally secured old green skins!!:):)
