thanks ill check them out.
A friend told me of a problem he was having with an Accutrigger.
If you trip the trigger, prior to tripping the middle bit, it becomes a pain in the butt to recock the mechanism.
Mebbe it's just me, but the idea of having to fiddle about , opening the bolt, while the firing pin is restarined by something other than the sear itself, seems a little cockeyed.
After I was told about this, I fiddled with the trigger demo unit in a gun shop.
Made me think a good quality aftermarket trigger , that can't be made to "half" go off, was a better bet.
Cheers

I have an Savage with accutrigger and I really like it. I understand they are not for everyone but here is where I get concerned. The 2 part trigger is supposed to give you better feel as well as being a safety feature. You have to pull both trigger parts to fire the gun. If you pull the main trigger first it locks out. If your buddy is tripping the trigger before the middle bit, to me that would mean he either doesn't understand how to use the accutrigger or he would have accidently discharged a gun with a regular trigger and the accutrigger saved him from doing that. Maybe I am missing something.
