Does anyone know where armseast's stainless barrels originate from? Mine shoots sub moa all day long with PMC 77gr smk

I think it was mentioned lots of pages back, but I forgot. They're pretty good barrels for sure. I tjink grouped 1.61" using a 2moa red dot using 69gr SMKs, but I think it's definitely capable of doing better. Just a matter of getting better glass on it to see.
My buddy shot my ACR using some 77gr stuff out to 550m, again with the same 2moa red dot and 3x magnifier, but I'm convinced I can get better performance out of it.

I figured this thread needs more ACR pr0n, so I'm throwing mine out there. Note that it's not entirely complete yet (waiting on a pistol grip cover, a Magpul handstop kit and some goodies from Railscales). This sports an RPM ACR Extended MLOK handguard with a Nefarious Arms 11.5" barrel and custom gas system that puts the stock one to shame. Geissele trigger (naturally), an Elcan Spectre DR and Magpul "killjoy" drum magazine (even unloaded with the Elcan it's still a noticeable weight hit). You can't adjust the gas setting without removing the rail but that's a minor detail. The RPM rail is roughly the same length as the polymer one.

I'm getting that ACR itch again... the handguard always felt like a weak point in the system. I'm assuming those screws at the front take advantage of the threaded holes on the upper, correct?

Yep. The first holds the bracket on the rail and locks into the receiver notch - the second screws into the hole in the upper receiver. I will probably update these photos in the next day or so with the RailScales handguard panels and insane vertical grip (pricey, but man I'm a convert). I also threw a Pachmayr rubberized cover over the pistol grip for some added texture and a Magpul 3-slot M-LOK rail for my QD Atlas bipod. Shout-out to both Ramy and RailScales for their excellent upgrades!

Well bought a couple of things for teh ACR today since I had been neglecting her for a while, and the course im taking requires a light...lol...
So I got myself a STREAMLIGHT 88059 ProTac Rail Mount 2L Flashlight 625 Lumens and a Aluminium Magpul M-Lok scout mount.
Seems to have good reviews. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a massive POS...

Inside/CQB its going to be a little hot if its as good as a SF, however outside/in open I would be willing to take 1000 lumens easy. Its nice to be able to identify your target with 100% certainty. That said, I am a SF fanboy.

That short ACR is probably the coolest rifle I've ever seen, nice job. Is it a 10.5" barrel on one and 18.6" on the other?

There was a package deal in EE a few days ago, not sure if it's still in there. NR ACR with the 18.6" barrel, with an extra 10.5” barrel kit thrown in for $4k.
It seems like those 10.5” barrel kits are pretty hard to come by nowadays.
And yeah, +1 on the pair of black and brown ACRs CobraGt, they look really good.

I don't quite understand why guys want a 10.5" when they own a non restricted ACR since you can't legally shoot it with the 10.5 unless you register it as restricted again which is easy but switching it back to non restricted takes around 3 months for the CFO to process it and actually take it off the books.
Not directed at anyone specifically so no one take this as I'm talking to them directly but to the guys with both lengths please don't F it up for the rest of us and get caught illegally using your short barrel. Last thing we need is to give them a reason to stop letting these be converted to NR and I'm sure no one wants to be charged with possession of an unregistered restricted firearm which is what you'll be charged with as they take your firearms license away along with all your firearms.
When I bought my first ACR it came with a 12 inch barrel and it was so sweet but since I bought it specifically to convert to NR I sold the 12" to pay for my first 18.5".
Your pics make me want to buy another black one so I can mix and match parts with my tan one. Those look great.
