All three of my stainless barrels have soot around the gas block, it's normal just doesn't show on a black barrel as much.
What are you running for glass?

Haha, it was my first time shooting a three gun comp. I barely knew anyone there.

Yeah, I think he was using the Magpul PTS one. It felt fine and I was thinking about getting one myself. I think he might have a spare.

I was the guy with the CC IUR.
 
Dumb question guys. I've seen pics of the charging handle on the ACR angled both up and down on others, anyone which way it comes from the factory?

I'm on my second rifle as well first one had over 1000 through it without any issues of any kind and this one gets regular use and I've never had any problems of any kind either. I don't usually keep track of rounds through my semis though, they are designed to run more than I'll ever put through them in this lifetime so I don't even think about it. If I do break something I'll just use one of my other rifles while I wait from parts from Gravel.

Gravel is the only place I know of to get parts anymore and you have to call them since they're pretty slow to reply. I have had them return an email with a link to the part of their site with parts but it's now a broken link so I won't waste your time sharing it.
Spare parts are expensive and the rifles are built well, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
