The other thing we need to know is the distance from the gas port to the face that the gas block butts up against. It appears to be greater than the same dimension on an AR bbl. This is not an issue as that step can just be machined back a bit to fit the ACR gas block. It does mean that an ACR bbl could not be used on an AR though.

That is typical of how pencil profile barrels have been done over the decades. Look at an early AR and you will see a profile exactly like that.
 
My world will be turned upside down if they are here before fall next year.
Hopefully shrubmaster has the barrel kits out at the same time, but I wont hold my breath.

I just received mine today, so much potential, a very nice design.
All it needs is support from the manufacturer...
 
I'm with you, got my 16.5" yday… very impressed but I still need to shoot this thing.
I need a 18.6" factory barrel kit.
