ACR questions

So how nose heavy would you say the acr is in comparison to the xcr?
non keymod xcr has worse balance than the ACR in my experience

the difference in balance will also depend on the barrel on your acr, mine as a 450 has a lighter barrel than the 223's I have handled

If you're really concerned you should probably handle one in person before you drop 3k on a rifle.
good plan, keep in mind that a basic ACR will balance better than an enhanced and also the barrel on the rifle you handle will make a big difference

9.5 pounds in this configuration, center about 1 inch forward of the mag well, with the acog

so i guess its not too bad, a bare bones m1a is 9.2 pounds

There are a lot of AR's out there that weigh more than that. Weigh your IUR! I'm curious now.
My ACR came in at 9.1 pounds, no mag, MBUS and a 2-7 redfield mounted. Factory barrel.

Good point about the rear mounted Acog, must balance the rifle a lot better with that setup. Wish I'd kept my OS3.

AR are useless even if they weigh half as much... lol... If we didn't have such stupid Gun Laws it would be a different story...

Even my Tavor fully loaded is 10 lbs. The ACR will make a great Coyote rifle, and once the Tavor gets the 300 blk out conversion, it will become my deer gun.
