Mine has been running damn near flawlessly since I bought it. Somewhere between 600-800 rounds.
That is kind of the problem though, bad ones are out there and yours doesn't seem to be perfect, just "dam near" . I know a number of people with ACR's including myself and none have had any issues like those I experienced with the xcr.
The other thing to mention is the barrel retention method, it makes having your own caliber conversions made a losing proposition/not worthwhile. If all you want is a 223 then you have a lot of options, but the big bore options available from the aftermarket for the ACR allow you to take full advantage of the platform for big game hunting in canada
