It may be possible with a bolt action but it would definitely be easier with a semi. Some people prefer a little more of a challenge I guess :)

Ive looked at SL8's many times, i was attracted to their reputation for good accuracy... but could never get past how uncomfortable it felt in my hands... i'll have to look into those lowers you mentioned.

The experience I have with keymod is limited to friends rifles, including the one in the video, although at 17:40 of pt 1 you can see how well that friend cleans the rifle and there were no failures ;). Although with the newer XCR Keymod version they still don't have the rifle squared away in my opinion and we can expect to see future refinements in subsequent generations. In regards to what failures.... well pretty well everything you can think of with past generations that was known to go down.... did.

That is sad, I was hoping RA's claims to have fixed all prior issues with this generation were true and I would give the platform a try again. Thanks for your honesty.
