Adhesives

How much oversize and what gun. That product may not be what you require. But grainger or any other loctite supplier can get it for you. It's a little pricy. Probably like 40 per 1 oz.

Putting a shim under the sight will tighten the dovetail. Lightly tapping the edges down will as well.

Urethane caulking and couple of wraps of black electricians tape will hold it in place. You can vary the color of the tape for best visual effect. ;)

I have a Rossi pump gallery gun (had it since new around 1978 or so :) )and yes they have a front dove tail that is i believe .390 .391 Skinner sights make that size and ships to canada.Don't fubar up your gun just get the correct sight and shoot again with a smile on your face.

KBC has it but not sure you'll make the minimum order with just that. ( btw it's not hard to make the minimum with all the nifty stuff they got ).

I'd be more so inclined to suggest JB Weld though. It will fill the gap better.

I have a sacreficial set of feeler gauges I use for sight shims + as above - "tapping down edges of dovetail" if things are desperate... If REALLY desperate - silver solder a steel dovetail blank in the over sized dovetail and cut a new proper sized dovetail...
